Visiting the Niagara Falls is sure to give you an appetite. You are going to be spending a lot of time outside in the fresh air. Fine dining at the Milestones on the Falls Restaurant
A meal in the restaurant on the top floor of the Marriott on the Falls hotel is a great way to treat yourself. Most of the tables have an excellent view of the rushing waters. It is open daily for both lunch and dinner. The food is a nice mix of European favorites and dishes from other areas of the world like Asia.
The Skylon Tower
On the Canadian side, the revolving restaurant in the Skylon Tower offers a great experience. The Falls are located close to the Tower, and the fact it revolves means everyone gets to enjoy the view. There, you can enjoy continental cuisine.
If you are looking for a less formal dining experience, book the Summit Suite Buffet instead. It is open for lunch and dinner during the season. They are famous for their Sunday Brunch, which is served year round.
Breakfast in the Fallsview Café
If you fancy a special breakfast, you can book a table in the Fallsview Café it is also on the mezzanine floor of the Marriott on the Falls hotel. Quite a few of the tables also offer you a view of the waterfalls.
Rainforest Café
For children, the Rainforest Café is a really good choice. If your kids like animals they will be in their element. The café is home to some exotic animals. Trained experts are on hand to tell you more about each of them and many of them are taken out of their tanks and cages, so you can get up close to them.
Elements on the Falls Restaurant and Night Cruise
The Falls look fantastic at night, especially once they are lit up. It is now possible to book a package deal that includes a short cruise with the chance to enjoy dinner beside the waterfalls at the Elements on the Falls Restaurant. A visit to the illumination tower is included in the package.
A meal at one of Niagara’s most popular pizza joints
Zappi’s is something of a Niagara tradition. This family restaurant is especially popular with locals. It is not really an alternative dining experience, but their build your own pizza birthday parties are quite unusual. So, if one of your children is celebrating theirs while you are away this could be a good way to celebrate.
