However, it’s well worth focusing on the great feeling of a luxurious and comfortable hotel stay. I promise, it can make or break a trip! Whatever your style taste may be, here are some of the most beautiful hotels in the world to stay at in 2019.

Woodlark Portland, Oregon
This upscale hotel is a must-stay if you are into the arts. Portland, a city known for its art scene, is great for a weekend trip. Luckily, this hotel is right in the heart of the gorgeous city. Henry Hotel Buffalo, New York
Some of the most striking hotels have rather strange backstories. Take, for example, Henry Hotel in Buffalo. The upscale hotel in Buffalo used to be an insane asylum in the 1800s. Now, the new and improved urban resort conference center has an open and stylish design, making the perfect place to stay if you’re heading to Buffalo for the weekend.
Six Senses Maxwell Chinatown, Singapore
This new boutique hotel is a restored heritage shophouse, centrally located in Chinatown. You won’t have to go far for a good meal–you can even grab a healthy meal at the Murray Terrace Brasserie, open all day, an organic dish from Max’s Rooftop, or a quality brunch at Cook & Tras Social Library.

Rosewood Hong Kong Kowloon, Hong Kong
Truly one of the most beautiful hotels in the world, Rosewood Hong Kong is so thoughtfully designed that you may never want to leave your room–though that would be a shame, with all that Hong Kong has to offer. Step outside your chic room adorned with plants and art to check out the Victoria Dockside retail district right near the hotel.

The bathtub at the Dalmar looks lush!
I am definitely a hotel kind of girl, no hostels for me, although I have seen a few truly beautiful ones in Portugal. I love the Shinola brand and totally want to stay in that one and as someone who goes to Paris often, I am always curious about new hotels opening there. Thanks for the list, I love the selections!
Love this!! I’m going to pin it so I’ll have this handy when I need to find a good hotel. I am a firm believer in staying someplace where you can unwind and relax. Atmosphere means so much more than I think some people realize. I stayed in a hotel recently for one night (so I wasn’t being picky), but there wasn’t a single picture on the wall. It was bare bones, minimum and so depressing. I love a boutique hotel with quirky ambiance. Lots of great hostels now, too.
I stayed at the Andaz in San Diego / Gaslamp which seems to have similar moxy to Moxy – hip and modern. That theme is carried out into the Gaslamp district so, if you like to travel that way, you’ll find lots of things to fill your dance card. The Dalmar rooftop yoga sounds fantastic. This property is right next to Las Olas / Riverwalk which has a similar feel to San Diego’s Gaslamp with abundant dining and eclectic shopping options.
I love this list and know I will be coming back to it as I book travel throughout the year! I’ve been wanting to visit Toronto as I am only a few hours away. I’d love to stay at the St Regis in Toronto with that bathtub view!!
