Charter your own boat or take a tour of the open sea with the beautiful crystal waters Siesta Key has to offer. Within minutes of boarding a boat, you can arrive right at your fishing destination. Calm waters and droves of fish make this a must do in Siesta Key. Outdoor Sports

If you are traveling to Siesta Key, Florida, prepare to be in your bathing suit for most of your trip. Windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, parasailing, paragliding, waterskiing, jet-skiing, paddle boarding, and snorkeling, oh my! Don’t forget your sunscreen! What is a vacation without bringing home souvenirs!? Browse leisurely through the streets of the Beach Bazaar with a little something for everyone. A big hit with tourists, this spot holds interesting trinkets, clothes, and treasures to bring home! If it is jewels and lovely adornments you love, Silver City Sarasota is a must stop. This family-owned, custom-made jewelry shop is very popular with tourists!. Settle in for a few hours to stroll through the local Siesta Farmer’s Market. Browse through fresh produce, craft tents, and indulge in a quick bite of delicious, local food.

Point of Rocks

Point of Rocks can be found at the south end of Crescent Beach and is a natural wonder of geologic beauty. Tucked away from the main road, this hidden oasis boasts beautiful limestone rock in the shallow, sandy shores. This is a perfect, uncongested haven for peaceful, mindful, pure relaxation. Oh and don’t forget your snorkel!

Spas

You are busy all day exploring all of Siesta Key has to offer, but everyone could use a little relaxation. Still Waters Wellness Spa, Omega Massage Therapy, and Massage Experience Siesta Key are just three relaxing points of interest to indulge in some peace and quiet. After all, all those water sports do take a toll!

Siesta Key Drum Circle

Now, this is something you won’t want to miss! Every Sunday, about an hour before sunset, both locals and tourists come together in unison to form the Siesta Key Drum Circle. The weekly event takes place just south of the main pavilion at Siesta Public Beach. The drum circle began back in 1996 and has been a local tradition ever since. Insider tip: Get there early as parking fills up fast!

    The next time I’m Fl., I’m going to come here & make time for all the outdoor water activities, that seems like a lot of fun & right up my alley. Afterwards it looks like taking full advantage of the spa, would be perfect!
