First of all, I know what you are thinking. Who travels all the way to the French Alps with no intention of strapping on skis and hitting the slopes? That would be me, taking in all that Morzine France has to offer from the base.
As a result of working abroad for the past three months, rest and relaxation was exactly what the doctor ordered! Fortunately, TG Ski Chalets knows just how to create the right environment for their guests. I spent the weekend surrounded by good food and great company.
Gourmet meals and crafty cocktails
Instead of playing the role ski bunny, I had the privilege of being the first one to the dinner table every evening. However, if I was skiing, one of the greatest perks of returning to the chalet each evening is not having to worry about what is for dinner. Oh, and being greeted with a glass of champagne isn’t bad either. Each evening we were treated to a full multi-course meal, complemented with the perfect wine pairing. The cheese board at the end of each meal was quite the hit as well!
Beyond the slopes in Morzine France
For those of you who like to stay active off the slopes, TG Ski offers in chalet pilates. The team can also coordinate winter wonderland outdoor activities such as sledding, ice skating and snow shoeing. Our crew choose the relaxing route, spending an afternoon at the local sauna and family swimming pool.
From Morzine to Mont Blanc
Want to check out the view from the top? No problem, Morzine also offers gondola rides. On a clear day you will have a gorgeous view of Mont Blanc. Don’t forget to warm up with a hot chocolate before heading back down the mountain. If you had forty-eight hours to spend in the French Alps, what would you do?

The food was amazing wasn’t it! I think the cheese was really popular too. I think people really should consider visiting Morzine even if they don’t want to ski. I enjoyed all it had to offer and the scenes were literally breathtaking
Yes I totally agree the cheese alone was worth taking the trip! Morzine, France has so much to offer, even if you aren’t a foodie or ski bunny!
