Antiparos

Antiparos is so beautiful that Hollywood elites like Tom Hanks have bought villas here. Located just opposite Paros, this tiny Greek Island is renowned for its unspoilt and tranquil atmosphere, ideal for groups of travellers who prefer a relaxing vacation in Greece.

The highlights of Antiparos are its stunning landscape, idyllic beaches, and whitewashed villages. It’s also not short of interesting attractions, such as an ancient castle and a few windmills. There’s also a unique cave on the island that your group should visit while travelling to Antiparos. You can explore several different shores on the island, starting at Soros, a scenic bay lined with sunbeds and umbrellas. There’s also a bar that serves great cocktails, from morning to sunset.

On the southern tip of the island, you’ll find Agios Giorgos, a solitary bay right across the small islet of Despotiko, featuring pristine, turquoise waters and some tavernas where you can indulge in delectable Greek cuisines. Here, you can spend the day lounging in complete solitude and feasting on the freshest seafood.

Zante

Zante is another stunning Greek island famous for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. It’s a popular summer destination for families and groups of friends, and has a good nightlife scene, with many bars and restaurants lining its town centre.

One of the best things to do in Zante if you’re travelling in a group is to hire a boat to visit Marathonisi island, also known as Turtle Island. This uninhabited islet has beautiful white beaches and a nesting ground for endangered sea turtles. You can hike up towards an old monastery where you will be rewarded with the stunning views surrounding the island. If you and your friends are outdoorsy, but still want the comforts, you should consider luxury camping in Greece near Zante.

If you would rather spend most of your time lounging at the beach of Zante, head to Gerakas beach. It has a long stretch of golden sands and a famous nesting ground for loggerhead sea turtles. The beach is part of a national marine park, so it’s off-limits 30 min before sunset and will only open to the public 30 minutes after sunrise. During the day, there are sunbeds from where you can relax and admire the gorgeous views of the surroundings while enjoying delicious cocktails.

Santorini

Santorini is one of Greece’s most popular holiday destinations for various reasons. Almost every corner of the island has breathtaking views. It’s also home to charming, whitewashed villages and has plenty of natural landscapes waiting for you to discover. Best of all, there’s a way to enjoy the island on any budget, which is why it’s a popular choice for group travels.

Part of what makes Santorini a popular destination in Greece is that most of its villages exude a traditional feel. While the island has modern conveniences, the structures still exhibit traditional architecture. Thus, one of the best things to do on your group travel to Santorini is to explore the picturesque villages. Oia is especially beautiful during sunset. Meanwhile, the capital of Fira is home to some wonderful landmarks, such as the Megaro Gyzi Cultural Centre. This 17th-century museum is famous for its interesting collection of artefacts that tell the story of Santorini.

After a day of exploring the villages, make your way to one of Santorini’s beautiful beaches. There are many to choose from, but some of the most popular beaches are White Beach, Red Beach, Monolithos beach, and Perissa beach. Some of these beaches have lounge chairs and umbrellas, where you can relax and admire the views.

Athens

The ancient capital of Greece has a lot going for it. Sure, it’s famous for its rich history, as seen in its many archaeological ruins, but there’s so much more to discover in this amazing city. It has stunning landscapes, vibrant nightlife, and mouth-watering cuisines. Indeed, there’s something for everyone here, making it an ideal place for a group getaway.

Athens is steeped in history and culture, from the ancient ruins dotting the city to its fascinating museums and historical landmarks. The best way to explore the highlights of the city is to do a Greek mythology tour. Aside from exploring the grand Temple of Olympian Zeus and discovering the winding streets of Plaka, your luxury Greece tour of discovery may also include a day trip to Delphi, the site of the Oracle.

But if you only have the time to visit only one site in Athens, head to the Acropolis. This awe-inspiring ancient citadel is thousands of years old and overlooks the city, home to some seriously incredible ruins, such as the Theatre of Dionysus and the Parthenon temple.

Mykonos

Hike from Elias to Agrari beach

When going to Greece for a group holiday, Mykonos should be first on your itinerary. This glamorous Greek island offers a bit of everything. Aside from having great weather all year round, it has family-friendly amenities and a party atmosphere, making it a destination everyone can enjoy.

Mykonos has beaches for everyone. Every beach features powdery white sands and crystal clear waters, so no matter which beach your group chooses to spend the day on, it will look like it’s straight out of paradise. When evening comes, some of these beaches come alive as party revellers start to gather for wild beach parties.

For those who prefer a quieter and more peaceful holiday in Mykonos, stay in one of the many private villas available on the island. Many of these villas have breathtaking views of the sea and are spacious enough to accommodate big groups. After spending a day at the beach, relax in your villa and spend quality time with your friends lounging at your private pool.
